Build Traffic – How To’s

Understanding about why you need to build traffic – how to’s of building traffic for your website is very important.  Let’s take a quick look again at the 4 step process for creating success online:

In this section of How To’s, I aim to cover a series  of topics related to blogging and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.

Setting up  your website is just the initial step.  In the days and months following that, your activities should be focused on getting rankings on the main search engines and social media (namely Google, Yahoo, Bing and Facebook) to drive traffic to your site.

The “How To” of that will be to be creating quality content for your pages and blog posts as well as making it search engine friendly.

The reason why you want rankings in the search engines is simple:

Website Rankings + Targeted Traffic = Revenue!

So if you have set up your website, you are probably wondering “How To” go about doing step C and the D – Creating Quality Content and Driving Targeted Traffic to your website.

This is probably the most crucial part of your website building process.  So you need to remember this:

Google, Yahoo & BING LOVE Content!  <3

So if you picture your website as your house or a building with many different rooms, your site content will represent  the appropriate  furnishing and fixtures that go towards filling up the rooms to make them complete so that  visitors will be attracted to come and visit.  The more they like the experience of their first visit, the longer they are likely to hang around and the more likely that they will be visiting again.

Just as Rome wasn’t built in a day, and the Marina Bay Sands Hotel wasn’t built in a week, building a website will require a bit of time.  The process of setting up a website is just laying down a strong foundation before starting to build a skyscraper, to be followed by furnishing it and getting it ready for awesome traffic.

I hope that you will continue to drop by and visit this site to check out the new “How To” content being published.

Please leave me a comment if you would like to suggest/request any specific topics included in my blogs.  😉

Thank you and have a lovely day!

  2. Traffic is the key to your online success and all website owners are struggling to build a high quality targeted traffic to their websites. I agree that major players, such as Google, Bing&Yahoo love content and if you can write it consistently you can drive a lot of targeted traffic to your website which means more visitors and more sales accordingly. But it takes time because you need to create a high quality content that can help your visitors and if you do so you can become an authority over time and build a successful online business.

    1. Hello Rufat, you have made some excellent points and I totally agree with your comments. 🙂
Targeted traffic is the goal and quality content is the key. I am working on publishing more content providing tips on bloggging and SEO and hope that you will be back to read these articles.

  3. I have published several tutorials on my website and I get about 750 visitors a month. How do I make that number much higher? My content is very labor intensive so it is hard to increase the amount of content in any given time. I average a lesson every week or two. Any suggestions?

I appreciate your input. Thank you.
